This event began in 2006 during the worst drought in Lockhart’s recorded history, as a celebration to the resilience of those who live and work on the land. It has grown significantly since, but remains a testament to the community spirit and enthusiasm of the area’s residents. It hosts the famous National Farm Art Sculpture Award, as well as offering everything from fine arts, photography, markets, boutique stalls, and fabulous foods to vivid open gardens, amazing entertainment, stylish vintage vehicles … and a very friendly atmosphere.
