A woman in her 60s has been airlifted to hospital following a caravan rollover in Queensland’s Maranoa region earlier this week.
LifeFlight says the woman was with her husband in a ute towing a caravan when it started to fishtail.
The ute and caravan then rolled over and the caravan disconnected.
The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter crew was able to land the helicopter on the road near the incident.
LifeFlight says the crew then worked with emergency services, including Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS).

The woman was airlifted to Roma Hospital with a minor head injury, and is said to be in a stable condition.
The husband was taken to the Roma Hospital by QAS with minor injuries.
There have been a number of accidents involving caravans in recent weeks, including a fatal crash near the NSW town of Scone last week.

It could happen to any of us at any time.
It seems like another case of the tail wagging the dog.
I hope everything turns out OK for them.
Please fit ESC on all vans
It is about time that every caravan has an approved electronic sway control unit installed.
It should be mandatory that every trailer be fitted with a sway control system & owners must ensure it is always working correctly. Mine has saved me twice, once after hitting a very large pothole and another time when wind gusts pushed from the side. It’s not very expensive when you take in the cost of a rollover.
