STEVE SAYS: Come on … you can make it! I love a picture that tells a story, and this one tells a stirring story as old as human history … man’s desire to overcome a challenge. I’m not sure how experienced the driver of this vehicle was but I’d like to think this was their first time attacking Big Red. The shot is well framed and perfectly timed. It leads you to think the driver is going to make the summit … but you’re not quite 100% sure. I’d like to think the next image in this series would be of the driver with a huge dusty smile punching the air in triumph. It’s a picture that makes me want to jump in the ‘Cruiser and give it a crack myself.
