What’s not to love. My eye was immediately drawn to the fiery red sky illuminating the swirling clouds and silhouetting the towering Norfolk Pines, but there is a lot more to appreciate. Such as the texture of the water on the sand in the foreground, and that of the surf itself. I loved spotting one lone surfer there and could only imagine his or her joy at having this magnficence all to themselves. The rounded swepping countours of the point where the water meets the sand added real interest for me, and I could see this shape changing with each new wave. A magnificent moment in time captured forever.
