Intriguing shot which really captures the ‘Let There Be Light’ theme of the competition. The full moon is barely enough to silhouette the tree but then explodes into the most glorious light as it bounces off the lake at the bottom of the image. The couple clearly enjoying the magnificence of their surrounds only adds interest to the image. It is cleverly composed and expertly executed, and really brings something unique to the table.
