This is a truly amazing shot. Light is at the very heart of the story. The fading sun picks out a path along the sand and water that brings out the most amazing texture and depth. It feels like I can reach out and touch that glistening sand, if not throw off my shoes and leap in to the picture for a stroll. I can easily identify with the people in the shot just wringing out the last moments of pleasure from the day before the sun sets. Some moments and some days you just don’t want to end.
