STEVE SAYS: I really enjoyed the shimmering silver of this photo, and the way it brings magic to this vast expanse of water and sand and sunlight. I think the photographer has chosen his vantage point wisely to be able to capture so perfectly the beauty created by the retreating tide. It seems so still and serene and yet the area is doubtless teeming with life. Like all good photographs, it is not just what the image depicts that makes it special, it is what it makes you envision. The ebb and flow of life in Australia. Well done to the photographer.
